Repeating meaningless things - the book is on the table - is a thing of the past.

 

Listening and understanding come first. Speaking will come in time, in a natural way. 

 

Grammar and writing will follow and will be much more interesting when students can already speak the language well.

 

It´s the same way we learn Portuguese.
